Being an entrepreneur, I often buy new gadgets to get more work achieved in less time. Let's face it, time is money. I really never thought that a digital pen could ever save me so much time and money. When I bought the Livescribe pen I felt like I had hit the jackpot.
I had been looking for a digital notepad or a digital pen for a long time and finally someone recommended the Livescribe pen to me. This friend of mine seems to know what she was talking about so I rushed out and purchased the pen.
I was pretty shocked at the price, to tell the truth. Who had heard of a pen that could cost in between 100 and 0? But I dug deep into my wallet and forked out the cash.
Once I had got the pen home and I was like a kid at Christmas. I love gadgets, especially when they work flawlessly. I was amazed at the technology that was pouring out of this and that I was holding in my hand.
Here are some of the features that I like about the Livescribe pen:
1. It records your drawing on a notepad and records your audio at the same time. Therefore you are basically making a video which can be used to show other people what you are doing.
2. It records great audio when I'm doing an interview with someone.
3. It is a great tool to take to a seminar, as people speak really fast and it is hard to take notes. You can write down notes yourself but it can also record the audio.
4. It is a lot lighter to carry around a digital pen, rather than a big laptop.
All you have to do is connect the digital pen to your PC and it will synchronize your documents and recordings you have done. There are some amazing features that just blew me away. One more really great feature was that you can upload and convert an entire session into a flash video to be viewed by other people.
How did the Livescribe pen save me time and money?
I like to take a lot of notes and go to seminars and take notes. I have piles of books that have notes in them and I really don't know how to sift through all my hand written notes. This digital pen will record my notes as I write them and then I can store them on the computer as a digital file. It will also let me search through these files to find particular words. Not only have I got a digital copy of my notes on my computer, I can also search them very easily.
"Is it worth the money?" Yes it is definitely going to save me a mountain of money and time! I am very happy with this product.
